Princeton School District to Conduct Community Phone Survey as Part of Long-Range Planning Efforts
As a part of its ongoing long-range operational and facilities planning process, the Princeton School District has engaged Nexus Solutions to conduct a randomized community survey beginning on July 9.
The phone survey will include approximately 400 randomly selected district residents and is designed to gather statistically-reliable feedback from the community. The results will help the Board of Education and district administration better understand community priorities, awareness, concerns and perspectives as planning discussions continue.
“This survey is an important step in making sure future planning is informed by the voices of district residents,” said Tim Brown, District Administrator. “No final decisions have been made. The purpose of this process is to listen, gather input and continue evaluating options that best serve our students, staff, taxpayers and community.”
Residents selected to participate may be contacted by phone beginning July 9. Participation is voluntary, and individual responses will remain confidential. Survey results will be compiled by Nexus Solutions and shared with the Board of Education to help guide future planning conversations.
Princeton School District Facilities Planning Timeline-to-date:
April - June 2026: The Board of Education selected Nexus Solutions to provide comprehensive facility assessment services, which includes everything from assessing our buildings and grounds to understanding our staff and student needs.
April 2026: In April, 46 staff members participated in a survey providing detailed feedback on building function and how it impacts both the staff work environment and the student learning environment.
May 2026: Students from both middle and high school were invited to participate in a workshop. Princeton students provided thoughtful information on their learning and activity spaces throughout the District facilities.
July 2026: The District will continue to evaluate operational, and facility needs, educational priorities and financial considerations with a focus on responsible planning and long-term stewardship. Community feedback through the randomized phone survey will be instrumental in helping the district determine the most practical and appropriate path forward.
Additional updates will be shared with the community as the planning process continues via the district’s planning website at https://princetonsd.facilityfacts.org/.
